This song is written in memory of David Pollard.

Matt: This song is for David, but it can work on so many different levels and have so many different meanings, I just wanted to make a portrayal of the life of someone who is not appreciated fully for their talent that everyone can relate to.
It annoys me off that someone with so much talent and someone who is a really brilliant person can just pass on with hardly any recognition then there's the queen mum gettin serenaded like some kind of martyr and all shes done is watched a few horses and waited for the cheques to roll in.
Yeah Pollard was great, although he wasn't a part of my life for such a long time he was always the kind of person that was inside me, it's a great shame that many people won't ever get to meet such a great person. I feel that all my songs that I have written since that late night conversation have been inspired by him in some way, shape or another.
