The following are the specifications that the car will be re-built to, I had already turbo'd the car
before it was taken off the road for a rebuild, i was running it at 22psi boost and for a 1000cc mini
it went well until one of the bearings in the turbo decided to disintergrate, which resulted in losing
a gallon of oil through the exhaust.

The Shell is a 1989 Mini 30
The rear arches have been cut & raised by 2 inches The spare wheel well has been cut out and
the boot floor has been flat plated. The rear pockets have been cut back to allow for a rollcage.
The bulkhead has been cut and boxed off for the turbo, the box is made out of 16 guage steel and
is reinforced around the bulkhead. The front end is a removable steelfront. The sills have
replaced with genuine rover sills. The a-panels, door skins and scuttle panels have still got to
be replaced. It has a full roll cage in it.

The rear beam of the rear subframe has been cut out to allow the exhaust to be tucked right up against
the boot floor.

The exhaust is a metro turbo downpipe mated to a home made exhaust system.
