| If you didn't get to this event, you missed a good one! The weather was fantastic, the beer was cold and the burgers were hot. The atmosphere was great, like most of the Specials do's I have been lucky enough to attend. A really friendly crowd, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. |

| Uncle Albert (sorry, I don't know your real name, mate) agreed to have his beard shaved off for charity. He hadn't shaved for six years and chose the hottest day of the year to do it! Smart move, let a bit of air circulate. See right for the full sequence. |
| Bif Bam Pow did two ripping sets. Sadly, we were all too bloody hot to dance! They are a fantastic live band. If you get a chance, go and see them. Well worth a look! |
| Hedges took a turn on the decks and was taking requests for 20p a throw! |
| Thanks to The Specials for making it such an enjoyable day. Our kids had a brilliant time. They loved the band, the music and the atmosphere. To top it all off we won a T-shirt in the raffle. We all got a suntan and some of us got very merry indeed! Hic! Can't wait for next year. By the way, The Specials are having a Custom Show on the 13th October 2002 at City Limits, Romford.
