The Platonic Shadows (www.theplatonicshadows.com) will be at the Kent Street Coffee House alongside The Scene (Jeff Gutteridge of Looking For Heather's new band), KromatiK, and Wednesday Night Jam. Should be stellar.  Runs from 7-10pm, and costs $5. AA

Friday, July 1st
Peterborough, ON
This show at the Grassroots Cafe will start around 10 pm, and feature four mighty awesome bands. Scrap Metal, most of you know of them, super fast, super talented, super awesome. Unexplained Bacon, who does crazy hip hop stuff, The Heat Skores, who have a Ska sound, and of course, your Daniel Greer Band. Plus, as an added bonus, the Beer Fest is happening all day until 10pm, so you could come up and get trashed by the river, then come to Grassroots and drink more beer. $5 at the door. AA/19+

Tuesday, July 5th

The Spicolis (www.thespicolis.com) will be headlining this show at the Kent Street Coffee House alongside The Daniel Greer Band, Preston (from Chicago), and Betrayal. 7-10pm, $5. AA

Thursday, July 7th
Peterborough, ON
Huge bill this night at Grassroots featuring The Platonic Shadows, KromatiK, Preston, The Smear Campaign, and Alive and Living (ex-Chore). Starts around 8pm, costs $5. AA/19+

Wednesday, August 3rd
Lindsay, ON
Live at Victoria Park: The Daniel Greer Band, KnifeHammer, and Submerse (www.submerse.co.uk) from England headlining the evening. Punk Rock and the DGB, hells yeah. One more act MAY be added. Runs from about 7-10pm, and is free to watch, though donations for gas and the sound system would be very appreciated.
