| Death for the righteous is distinctively different from what it is for the unbeliever. For the news of a death of a child of God brings forth joy and peace to the Children of God still around in this world! To the dead child of God, he could now be assured that his living hope in Christ is being fulfilled and the promises of God made good to him when he ascends into heaven to be united with God, our heavenly Father, in His home where a room has been prepared for us through Jesus, our Lord - Every child of God ultimate destination. Rejoice therefore upon the death of any of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! I say again, rejoice that such a brother or sister is now home with God! Children of God must take confidence in death, for death is but just the continuation of our spiritual walk in the heavenly realm! It is only when we have confidence of death that God is able to turn our sorrow and grief into joy! We may grieve. We may be filled with sorrow. But we MUST NEVER sink further into such emotional states but be quick to turn our sorrow into joy in our hearts! For if heaven rejoices each time "a lost sheep" is found on earth, how much joy do you think heaven is having when this sheep returns home?! Rejoice! -- Kueh -- |
