| HOW TO BE MORE CHRISTLIKE On our own, it is not possible, for we are sinful. But we can give our bodies to God as an offering; a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2). With that, God will give us the Holy Spirit who will help us in our transformation (Romans 8:9) And as we let Christ control our inner life (2 Corinthians 3:18), He will also controls our outer expressions of that inner life (2 Corinthians 3:18). We must also work hard tokeep sin out of our lives (2 Corinthians 7:1) by not submitting to them. All these are only possible if we unceasingly and continuously dwell in God and live a life in reverence to Him. For God is the God of Truth (John 17:17) and we must continue to believe in His promises. |
