Hope can be obtained from the scripture, our past experiences and obtaining promises. When God gives you a promise and you embrace that promise, it not only produces hope but it also produces joy which is your strength.
Past experiences of being in difficulties and having God bringing us out gives us hope when we are in a new difficulty, trial or tribulation. We look back and say :
"The God who delivered me then is able to deliver me now."
Hope brings us strength to our spirit, our soul and our body. It brings health to our whole being like a good medicine. It produces joy and a merry heart! |
