Dressing Slim: Below the waist & Trousers/Pants

Just altering the trousers you wear can make a big impact on the shap of your body. This is just my honest opinion on what I think looks good. Don't like it? Don't follow them :P

1. Unless you are rake thin, don't attempt to wear skinny jeans...If you're unsure if they suit, don't risk it. Skinny jeans make thighs look bigger as the tapering legs create a V shape. Opt for bootcut jeans which can balance out large hips or wide-leg trousers because they create the illusion of longer legs due to the straight lines, especially when worn with pointed boots or shoes.

2. Don't wear trousers where the length is wrong. Too short, and they'll make short legs look shorter. Buy trousers slightly too long and they make legs look longer, expecially when worn with heels.

3. Again, unless your legs are pin-thin, don't wear white trousers! They mostly look tacky on anyone, thin or not.

4. Don't try and squeeze into trousers too small around the waist, it will create horrid bulgy love handles.

5. 3/4 lenght trousers [or capri pants] make legs look shorte, so if you're short, steer clear.

7. Wearing Darker bottoms and a lighter top will balance your top to bottom ratio.

8. If you have a small waist, a belt will help accentuate it.

9. Draw attention away from your bottom half by wearing a bright or detailed top.
