Biography

Alex Lundqvist was born on April 14, 1972.  This 6'1, blue-eyed, blonde male model is from Stockholm Sweden.  After his obligatory one year army stint, Alex studied computer design and upon graduating, was ready to enter the world of advertising.  A girlfriend suggested he should try modelling, so with his chin covered with stubble, he went to have some test shots taken.  In the summer of '94, he met photographer Bruce Weber and Wilhelmina Agent, Sean Patterson.  The pair tracked down Alex after spotting him in an obscure magazine.  These two gentlemen proved to be instrumental with launching Alex' career.  Immediately, Versace booked him for a world-wide campaign with Helena Christenson, photographed by Weber.  Which led to Alex doing the Lagerfield campaigns in Europe and GUESS? in America. 

As one of today's top models, Alex appears in countless fashion magazines and walks the runways for the big name designers.  In February of 1995, Alex did runway shows in Paris, Milan and New York for Valentino, Versace, Armani, Gucci and Calvin Klein.  In April, he appeared in the Lagerfield campaign with Nadja Auermann.  Less than a week later, he was chosen for the GUESS? campaign with Laetitia Caste and Valeria Mazza.  For the next two years, from 1995 to 1997, Alex appeared in a number of GUESS? campaigns and commercials. 

Alex is an avid motorcycle buff and he enjoys rebuilding Harley Davidson's. Don't expect to see him in the clubs.  This is a rather reserved man who enjoys more intimate types of social settings.  He calls Manhattan, New York City his home.  His agency is Sean Patterson of Wilhelmina Models.
