Reorganize your life before It's too late. Once you reach an age where you can utilize your common sense (not always common as the name implies) cut down on unecessary expendture. The key is to think long term. Too many people are short sited. This doesn't mean you cannot reward yourself occasionally after putting in some major hours at the job. Pamper yourself but don't over do it. Most people tend to over pamper themselves hence debt, credit problems etc. They do it so much that when they even lack the resources they fall on others ( individuals, credit card companies, store credit etc) Believe me, a majority of people especially women, fall into this category due to their love for shopping. Shopaholism is a epidemic in need of eradication. When most women buy a dress, this is followed by a whole list of accompanying accesories that only if purchased, would make the attire complete. She's probably going to wear that dress once anyway and throw it in the closet already filled with similar cothes. The shoe fetish thing, is a money killer too. It seems like women have to get almost every shoe they see hence hundreds of shoes rotten away in the closet.
. Everybody's excuse for having a cell phone is that it comes in handy during emergencies. It has caused more accidents than it has saved lives. Thats a good one but most people I know use it for totally unecessary calls. If you are a business person it is acceptable to have even more than one. But most people just use it for talking complete nonsense. This includes both adults and teenagers who only increase their monthly bills than endulge in any serious or lucrative conversation.
Most people think the term "long term" is too long or far away. People are concerned with living their lives now. I often hear people say life is too short. This is selfish. Even adults with little children say this. I can understand a teenager, when he says that. However they should be concerned too because they have a whole life ahead of them.A long life is not guaranteed alright, but on the other hand what if you live a long life. Scenario: a young person working at a factory or warehouse and not saving for retirement (because most aren't), can't be as productive as they are now in their fifties. We can't always think how short life can be without thinking vice versa.
