The Mountain Valley Airport is one of Ove's favorite spots in the California area where Charlie lives... we all had a fun time watching the take offs and landings of all kinds of small airplanes and gliders!
The Raven's Nest Coffee and Sandwich Shop is a great place to have lunch!!!
The Mountain Valley Airport also houses the Skylark North Glider School ... this is where all the Navy Test Pilots learn how to fly gliders... the picture to the right showing the group of Navy Test Pilot Students from Class 115 is hanging on one of the walls in the Raven�s Nest Coffee Shop... the red arrow points to Charlie!!!
In one of the many hangars, Vikingo found the same type of glider he first flew back in 1948 ! The old glider brought back fun memories of his youth in Denmark !
