Between Close Friends
A shonen-ai-ish story written by Chi to make DS squeal =D
The sun beat down over the rainforest that day almost cruelly. The forest floor
below was mottled with shadows, whose only shield was the vast canopy of leaves high
above, was as still and silent as ever.
Every leaf was dripping with moisture, each plant and insect calm in the balmy
air.
Two adult frogs, the only visitors of this quiet place, walked on in silence,
both almost afraid of breaking the silent atmosphere of that serene place.
They only dared to speak after reaching the only place in the forest where noise
was everlasting; the pool of a cascade waterfall. Though not a large, or noisy
waterfall, there was a soft, warm mist around it. The area it was in, and all
around the river, was the only place where the sun shone down brighter then any
other part, the overhead trees like umbrellas, their leafy protection thin here.
Ryoyo was the first to slip into the water, which was gentle and warm in the sun,
but not uncomfortably warm.
Sujiji slipped in next to his close childhood friend, his gloves and scarf beside
Ryoyo’s scarf, vambraces and grieves.
“This was a nice idea, Ryo-sama.” Sujiji said, stretching his arms
over his head, before allowing himself to slide down into the water further.
“Mmm… it’s good to be away from that… g-girl…”
Ryoyo stammered, gripping the top of his legs, feeling very uncomfortable.
“Ah, you mean DS-chan?” said Sujiji, oblivious to his friend’s
visible flinch. “She’s not so bad, Ryo-sama.”
“Maybe not… but… she can be… terribly smothering.”
He said, clearing his throat nervously after finishing his sentence. He had always
been uneasy around girls, especially authoritive and ‘pushy’ women.
Whilst DS was not pushy, she certainly was someone whose stride screamed ‘don’t
mess with me.’
Sujiji patted his shoulder reassuringly.
“That’s a quality about you I find most endearing, Ryo-sama.”
There was something in that tiger-frog’s eyes, some emotion… respect,
maybe? Maybe something even more, but nothing less.
“E-Endearing, Suji-kun?” the dragon knight spluttered, a faint reddish
tint to his cerulean blue face. He scratched the back of his head in shame.
“Yes, Ryo-sama…endearing. There’s something very sweet about
your demeanor… able to take on the most ruthless of dragon-kind… but
not that of a lady.”
Ryoyo sighed, looking quite tense, his mind still on his crushing defeat at the…
rather explorative… hands of DS.
“Ryo-sama, you look tense… shall I massage your back?” Sujiji
asked, almost carelessly.
Ryoyo looked at his friend from the corner of his eye, before murmuring back softly,
“Y-Yes… i-if you don’t mind, Suji-kun…” he quickly
looked away, before getting into a more appropriate position in the water for
his friend.
After Sujiji settled down behind him, the tiger-frog gently began to work on Ryoyo’s
shoulders.
Ryoyo had to suppress the urge to let out moans of pleasure, enjoying every stroke,
every rub of his friend’s gentle hands on his moist skin.
Sujiji began to wash Ryoyo’s back, gently massaging up and down his
spine.
The blue frog trembled slightly under the intimacy of his friend’s hands,
each stroke building up the experience. He couldn’t hold in his pleasure
any more and let out an excited moan.
“S-Suji-kun…” he gasped turning to the tiger-frog, taken by
surprise at his own cry of ecstasy. He knew he was blushing, and he didn’t
care how visible it was.
“Shh, Ryo-sama…” whispered Sujiji, pressing a finger to his
friend’s lips, his own face reddened by a deep scarlet blush.
The two friend’s eyes met, both becoming more red-faced.
Both leaned close to each other, hesitating… so close, one’s lips
almost touching the other’s...

The sun’s golden glow spread out across the sky as it began to retreat
behind the mountain range west of the forest.
The forest was still silent, though now becoming more dark and mysterious, as
two adult frogs, friends closer than ever, left, arms resting around eachother's
waists.
