MOCAMBOPO
POETRY & PERFORMANCE READING SERIES.
A FEATURE WRITER & OPEN MIKE EVERY WEEK

April 23, 1999: NADINE PEDERSEN

You asked me to send you a bio and I really don't know what to say. My poetry hasn't been published in any reputable places. I don't really like my poetry on the page. I'm studying writing at UVic, have worked as a journalist in Prince Rupert and written for other papers in Quebec and Japan.

I've been a private school girl in Tokyo, a governess in Europe and a human rights observer in Chiapas, Mexico.

I'll probably be reading poetry born out of those experiences and others, including working in a retail shop on Government Street, coordinating Food Not Bombs and of my erotic fascination with my late Volvo.
