| Okay...Standard disclaimer applies..just like i wrote in the other chapters. I do NOT own Sailor Moon or any of the characters in it....well...yet again..I own myself A Simple Game of Truth or Dare Chapter 3 By: Sailor Cappuchino (me! ;) .....hehe) __________________________________________________________________ "Okay. Now I think I'll need to find out her weakness for what I'm going to do." he whispered to Andrew who nodded. "I don't know Dare, Serena looks up to me like I'm her big brother. If I told you her weakness she would feel totally betrayed." Andrew whispered back. "Okay, fine." Darien shrugged. "I'll just get it out of Raye." he added and looked over to the girls. Mina and Amy had to help Lita and Raye because Serena was fighting them. She pleaded and kicked, but never got free. <What are they doing? They're all planning against me. I need to get out of here. I know just how to get out of this too.> "Umm....guys.....I have to go to the bathroom." she said as she stopped fighting. "Fine. But no more kicking." Mina said as she rubbed her shin where's Serena's shoe had made contact. They dragged her into the bathroom and locked the door after they came out. *~ Inside the bathroom~* Serena pulled the blinds up, but made sure she was quiet. She carefully opened the window and slipped out. After pulling the shade back down, she closed the window. <I'm so smart. They'll never know I snuck out." she thought to herself as she ran down the street. She pulled her cell phone out and dialed Lita's number. It rang 2 times before Lita picked up. "Hello?" "Lita, I was wondering. How many windows do you have in your house?" she asked in a deep voice. "Well, let's see. I have 2 in my bedroom, 3 in the kitchen, 2 in the family room, 2 in the living room, and one in the- SERENA!" Lita yelled the last part. Serena burst out laughing. "Lita......hahaha...I can't believe you actually forgot you had an unlocked window in your bathroom." Serena turned the corner and she pulled the keys out of her pocket. After starting the car she pulle away from the curb and put on her sunglasses. "Where are you Meatball head?" Raye's angry voice came through the phone. "Well, I just pulled away from the curb where I had parked my car. I think I'm just gonna go fro a drive." Serena said in a relaxed voice. "Wait, scratch that. I'm gonna run home and change, then I'm going out. See ya guys at the MoonDust Club." she said and then hung up. -------Serena's P.O.V------- I pulled into my driveway, and jumped out of my car after turning it off. Now, my plan was to get everyone out for a change. I knew it was Darien's birthday, even though he hadn't told anyone. Heck, I've known when his birthday was for a year or so now. My summer job at the capital allowed me to access the citizen files. He was gonna go out with us this time, even if he acted like it killed him. He's not one for group activities. Sure, he's had girlfriends over the past 7 years I've known him, but none that he's really ever let get close to him. Andrew knows him the best, because he's been his friend longer. I guess Darien wouldn't consider me a friend, but I consider him mine, You're probably thinking 'Why am I going out of my way to help him?' Well, I guess I've always had a certain fondness or softspot for him. Normally, if someone had teased me about my grades, hair, or eating habits, I would just ignore them. I've found that it's just something about him that draws me to him. He's dark and mysterious. I'm not as bright and cheery as I used to be. I guess you could say, that I woke up from a dream. Yeah, that's only what I think of it as now. I'm a part-time doctor at the St. Johnson Hospital and I'm also a kindergarden teacher at Johnson Elementery School. The school is right next to the hospital, and Darien works there. I'm only 23. At the hospital I'm a part-time pediatrician. Darien works 2 floors above me. I remember when I was 21, Darien came down with a bouquet of blood red roses. They were beautiful. He was nice to me for the rest of that day. The next day it was back to hello's in the break room, and then we'd go our separate ways. I do kind of look forward to seeing him everyday when I get there. I guess he just kind of grew on me. But, I'm thinking too much and you're probably wanting to read the rest of the story. Okay. I walked up to my front door, and went in after grabbing my mail. I shut the door with my foot and went into the kitchen. I think I'm going to do some remodeling during summer vacation. It's just easier that way, because I can take off work at the hospital. I grabbed a snack bar, and then went to my bedroom. I lived alone. Yeah, you probably guessed it. Single Serena. Sure, I had a few boyfriends in high school and college.......but nothing really serious. No virginity, no problem. That's what I went by n college when sleezy guys hit on me. I would usually just smile at them and say hi. Eventually the numbers of offers died and then I graduated. I came back home to find my friends there as well. Raye was running the temple, Lita was a cheif at a famous resturant, Mina was doing some painting, and Amy was a junior high teacher. The poor girl, those teenagers work her her up. Greg became a lawyer, Chad worked at the temple with Raye still, Ken became an author, Andrew had become a psychiatrist, and Darien had become a doctor. It seemed everyone had their futures planned. I got a job first at the school, and then applied for another job at the hospital. I bought my aunt's old house and moved in there. My parents were living in Maine, and theyloved it up there. Anyway, I threw my mail onto my bed, and then went to my closet to find an outfit to wear. Most of them were dresses, because that's what I wear when I go to work at the school. I parted a row of dresses and found another rack. I flipped through it til I came across the pair of jeans I wanted. They were cute, kinda faded, Ambercrombie and Fitch ones, that only came up to my hips. After I found my white long-sleeved abercrombie shirt, I changed in my bathroom. I had been wearing a pair of jean shorts and a light pink sweater. I put my hair into a ponytail and wrapped it a few times so it only hung to my waist. I had gotten it cut before I left for college. It then came to my knees instead of my ankles. My phone rang, and I ran to get it. "Hello?" I said politely. "Hello, is this Ms. Phillips?" "Yes this is. How may I help you?" "Ms. Phillips, this is Mrs. Bannook, Christina's mother." "Oh, is there something wrong?" I asked concerned. Her voice sounded worried and uneasy. __________________________________________________________________ And this, my dear readers, is the end of chapter 3. Hoped you liked it. Send me comments!
