V8 240z Conversion

I decided to use a four speed manual transmission.  It is a new process 833 with 4th gear being overdrive.  It is light at 85lbs, but can handle serious torque.  I am going to use a hydraulic throw out bearing to simplify the setup.

This is the standard Chevy bell housing.

The new process 833 has a unique bolt pattern.

Turbo 240z Conversion

The turbo car has an 83 280zxt Borg Warner T-5 installed with a mustang shifter.  I love the T-5 tranny myself, some people don't.
