Course: Wolf Mountain Architect: Jeff Kissel Released: TBA Wolf Mountain is by far the oldest of all of my fantasy courses (at least, the ones I still have). When I designed the original layout, I put the tees, fairways, and greens on most holes on big hills. This looks unique and can play very difficult (especially if the heavy rough is declared OB), but I unfortunately didn't know how to make proper greens and thus many were unputtable. I kept the course out of sentimental value, and when I got up to school in the fall of '99, I did a total makeover of the terrain. I changed very few of the hills, but I added bunkers, puttable greens, some new tees, and removed some trees that were in the way on a couple of holes. Now this course is an interesting blend of my old and new styles of architecture. I really recommend this course not because it's one of my best, but because it's a fun course to play that requires a lot of thinking and discipline. Discipline is a quality I expect golfers to have when they play my courses.
