Course: USGA National Architect: Jeff Kissel Released: TBA USGA National is my fantasy U.S. Open-style course, with heavy rough everywhere and deftly placed bunkers ready to grab your ball. It also has twelve par fours (something the USGA apparently likes) and is par 35-35=70. This course was another where I delayed its finish because of my short attention span, but instead of ruining the course the delay actually helped it. The back nine of USGA National has some of my best holes ever designed. I may have overdone the hilliness on some holes, but I think the par three fifteenth is the finest par three I've ever designed. This course ranks about as good as Lakeside Forests, only because I think I overdid some of the hills on the back nine (and later, as you will be able to read in the actual course text file, on the front). But I'm sure you'll enjoy it and most likely get a challenge out of it.
