Lost Cypress Golf Links is my entry into the Cypress Point Challenge design contest on
JNSE Central.  I don't know if the contest is going to happen, but I did the course anyway.
It was originally named Theresa Bay Country Club, after my girlfriend at the time, but since 
then she has done some bad things to me so I decided not to name the course after her.  I
figured anything with cypress in it would work for this course, and Lost Cypress just sounds
cool.

The course is par 35-36=71, with only three par fives, four par threes, and eleven par fours 
of varying characteristics.  The course winds through inland woods and dunes on the first few
holes before a striking view of the ocean on the par five sixth.  It then turns back inland
until the eleventh, which begins a stretch of five straight clifftop holes, then goes back
in to the clubhouse away from the ocean.  Some of the inland holes are as pretty as the ocean
holes, and some are even trickier.  The finishing hole is a 450+ yard par four into the
prevailing wind.  Despite the course's measley 6,628 yard length, it is one of the more
difficult layouts I've done.  It has more bunkers than I normally put on a course, as well as some small greens and some holes requiring fades or draws into greens.  Not to mention the
ocean coming into play on six holes!

This course absolutely blows away Boulder Beach in my mind as my best-ever fantasy course.  I 
hope everyone enjoys playing it, and beware of the cliffs!  They are steep!
