| Renaissance of Hope To see a tear drop on fire Is like to feel a knife stab in your heart A stab that so painfully says that it's all over To feel a burning up inside of you As hot as Hell should burn Enveloped by the fire tongues The heart being burnt up by pain To feel each single muscle deteriorate The slow loosening of the chest pain Disolving into hurt and anger Devolving all over the body Into the soul where it shall rest Rest so unpeacefully.... That every day is a doomsday Knowing that it is all over Still, a stirring of hope remains alive Alive, inside of you, so thin, but full of hope Hoping that all the hurt and anguish will melt away Just like the tear in the fire And it shall not reoccur again No other tear falling into the fire That so violently eats it up With all its crackling flames and heat To let that hope prevail To feel that stirring fulfilled Seeing all well into the future The bright light coming to meet the eye The eye that no longer a tear haunts A renaissance of hope A happy soul, free of isolation and pain Posted 12/29/01 |
