Mo's debt story:
We've all had crisis in out lives.  Has yours remained?   Mine has.

In 1996, at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with a severe DVT (deep vein thrombosis).  I was hospitalized for about a week and received great medical treatment.  My DVT was remedied, my financial crisis however remains.

Due to my illness, I was disabled for one year.I live in New York State and was paid the minimum disability allowed at the time of $175 a week.  At the time I had relatively no debt, maybe $200 on my favorite stores retail credit card.

As a result of the severe drop in my income from making close to $25,000 to making $9,100 I had no choice but to live by credit card for the year to make up lost income.  I did my best at the time to live conservatively, I only paid for food and bare necessities.

Fast forward now to 2003, it is 7 years later and I am still paying this debt whose balance is ~ $25,000!  I am married with 2 small children. My spouse works full time and we have both children regretfully in day care. Most of his wage except for appx $20 per week pays for day care.I work 65+ hours a week and my expenses are barely covered by my take home pay.

This is where this website comes in. I am pleading with all to donate to my cause to reduce and eventually eliminate this rediculous credit card debt. The debt was from medical bills and necessary living expenses from 7 years ago.  Please help me if you can? One dollar can have an impact!

Please "Pay it Forward"

Sincerely in need of help, Thank you for any small donation!
