City of Temple museum featuring railroad and pioneer history of Temple and the
Southwest. Historical properties include 1910 GCSF Temple depot, 1912 Temple
MKT depot, 1907 GCSF Moody depot, ATSF 3423 steam locomotive, ATSF 2301 diesel
locomotive, a Pullman sleeper, Budd sleeper, 3 cabooses, 1 Pullman WWII Troop
Sleeper, 1 boxcar and thousands of railroad and pioneer artifacts. For
researchers, museum has a large collection of Santa Fe engineer's tracings for
entire Southern Division, as well as timetables, passes, and other railroad and
local history items. We are open Monday-Saturday from 10am-4pm and Sunday
12pm-4pm. Adults $2, Seniors & Children 5-12 $1, and children under 5 are
