Bell County Human Services/Temple HELP Center's mission is to assist in alleviating emergency crises by providing emergency financial assistance, community based services, early prevention and intervention services to families and individuals. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens through a variety of services by partnering with local agencies and programs which will lead to self-sufficiency and independence. We offer immediate practical solutions to "life stresses" to citizens who have an unexpected emergency and/or special hardships. This may include providing financial assistance for a utility bill, rent, etc. as funds are available. The staff then directs the customer to other appropriate community support services and/or may offer core basic educational sessions provided at the HELP Center. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
