A state of the art child care center , The Beary Best Academy for Children is
owned by Robert (Buster) C. Johnson and wife Sherry of Garland. The Johnsons
have owned and operated centers in the Dallas and Waco area for the last 12
years. The Temple Center will offer care for children 18 months through 12 years
of age. The 15,400 sq. foot building sits on two and a half acres. The facility
includes 7 age appropriate classrooms with individual play porches. Age
appropriate playgrounds, indoor playground with bicycle track, recreational
room for developmental gymnastics, covered swimming pool, computer room,
multi-media room, infirmary for ill children to wait for parents, and a barber
shop are also part of this spacious center. The program curriculum will be
based on developmentally appropriate practices in the classrooms and will offer
developmental gymnastics, dance, swimming lessons, and many more extras! Our
school age program is beyond compare! After schoolers will be offered
playgrounds for soccer, baseball, rollerblading and more. The school age
classroom will provide many activities for them to unwind after a long day at
school. The summer program keeps them on the move with many field trips and
planned activities.

The Bell County Expo Center is a multi-purpose facility that hosts a wide range
of events. The Expo Center has a 6,000 seat arena (8,000 with seating on the
floor), 72,000 sq. feet of exhibit space, banquet/meeting areas, and two dirt
arenas for equestrian/livestock related events. Some of the events that occur
at the Expo include rodeos, professional hockey, concerts, indoor football,
banquets, meetings, consumer shows, livestock and equestrian events and
conventions. The Expo Center has a fulltime staff that assists in event
coordination and an in-house food caterer/concessionaire (Fine Host
Corporation).
