Don't let the primer, light, and camera angles fool you! This car is a long way from the paint booth. I did promise myself this would not be a full restoration; I am going to find one a little better to start with for that. The car was in South Florida at my friend Dan's house. He was moving to Kansas City and his woman told him, "I am not hauling that thing 2000 miles, three different colors!!" Some of the bodywork was done but keep in mind Dan is a terrific mechanic! Grease and paint don't mix, so the work is a little rough and far from finished. My nephew is a body man and is going to help me finish it (once I have that phone shown here surgically removed from his ear). So far we have sanded andprimered the hood. YIPPEE! I really have to get to work on it, but it is my daily driver and time is short. I have done some work to the inside. The stereo is in and knockin out the tunes pretty good. Also I had to install rear seat belts, I have two small children. I plan on doing it one body panel at a time. The final color isn't definite yet. I was thinking silver (original color). Due to the damage and me not restoring it, a friend wants me to turn him loose on it. Full lowered twenty-inch trio rims burnt amber spray, but it will be mild if I go that route. I am far more gear head than low rider. If you are wondering about the spoiler, it is from a '70 Camaro I had to convince it to rethink its role in life and bend the other way. It wasn't too hard although it isn't done. I know it is primered too! I just have to sand it again and primer it. All it took was a saw, some patch, and a whole lot of fiberglass! Hopefully I get off my ass and do some work. I want to go to K.C. for the July 30 show. And leave it on the lot of course!! Tell ya more when I know more. Oh Yeah! As far as the power train it is just a stock 110hp with a powerglide tranny and duals. Notice the camber though! This is temp. I intend on straightening them up. I love the way it corners right now but don't want to eat up the tires too quickly.
