For over a year now, two members of the MNT, Smoky and Double D, have been accepting challenges from whomever wants to try and beat us at hockey for the most prestigious trophy in all of sports, the MNT Beer CUP. It's called the MNT Beer CUP because it can be used as a BEER BONG, let's see the Stanley Cup do that. If I had to make a guess, I would say that the MNT have defended the cup about 40 times now. Goals: Game 44 will live in infamy as the game during which Double D threw his stick. The MNT found themselves facing defeat for the first time as the Challengers had recorded 5 goals and the MNT had only 2. After making a comeback, one of the MNT's passes hit a rock, and Badass was on a breakaway, with only a few feet between Badass and the open goal, and a few more feet between Badass and the trailing Double D; I decided to throw my stick in an all out hope to keep the MNT's perfect record intact. The stick spun its way up to Badass and miraculously knocked the ball out of bounds. After several uses of the word "bullsh*t" Scott took his penalty shot. As I watched from the side of the trashcan goal, I saw the ball disappear as it approached the can and I thought, "The streak is over." Then I saw the ball trickle out the other side, and realized that the MNT were still in it. Minutes later we sealed the deal on our 44th victory.
