The 72nd National FFA Convention was held October 27-30, 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky. This is the first time the FFA convention has moved in all 71 years. In a completely new environment, 46,000+ FFA members set out to explore. The FFA said goodbye to the 1998-99 national officer team and welcomed a new team of six individuals. Region VI was well represented at the Convention, with a candidate for National Star Farmer and finalists in Environmental Science, Outdoor Recreation, and the H.O. Sargeant Award. Region VI was also represented by delegates, Justin Lessman - 1999-00 State Sentinel and John Lanoue - 1999-00 Region VI President. With that, let's take a look at the 72nd National FFA Convention picture book.
