To RSVP for events or otherwise contact the facilitator, please DO NOT REPLY to listserv reminders. Instead, BEGIN A NEW MESSAGE, sending it to the MNO Group Facilitator. This will greatly speed our response to you and prevent your questions and address from being distributed to the entire list.

To Post: Address your message to the MNO Yahoo Group. Use this address ONLY for MNO event/activity-related postings. Please, no jokes, virus notices, advertisements, etc. For MNO administration, questions or comments, please use the MNO email link to the left.

To change your subscribed address: Log into YahooGroups (http://groups.yahoo.com), then Sign-In to your profile where you can update all of your information. MNO moderators can only delete your old address entirely, then reinvite you all over again; it's quicker and easier for you to self-manage your Yahoo Groups profile!
COORDINATING AN EVENT
Several MNO'ers have indicated that they'd like to do something more than just the monthly game night. You too can make an activity you enjoy into fun for the whole MNO gang by creating your own MNO activity. It's easy, and WE CAN HELP!
Pick an activity: movie, dinner at a restaurant, theatre/sporting/concert event
Pick a date and time: which time works for you and will probably work for others? Select a calendar date, note the day of the week, and identify start time and a meeting time (before the event start time)
Pick a place: select a place to meet the group - either at the event or nearby, where the guys can gather before starting the activity. For example, a particular entrance or a nearby landmark. Indicate what you're wearing and/or that you'll have a "big M" with you so guys can locate the group.
Prepare a brief description: of the activity, restaurant cuisine, likely cost range, and any special info the guys will need (suggested dress, required ID/admission item, etc.).
Spread the word:Send all the details above to the listserv (see above) and contact the MNO Group Facilitator to start the phone-only notifications.
Show up! Make sure you're at the given location as indicated, to be the 'point' person that people can look for. Don't forget your BIG M!
Remember: MNO was formed and advertises itself as a smoke/alcohol/drug-free social alternative. While tobacco-smoking is permited as our host/location allows, our events should not offer the latter two items. Please bear this in mind when planning your event and picking locations.
