2,126 words today to finish, sort of, the draft of the crime story I've been working on. No title as of yet. I really struggled to get much of anything today. I kind of knew what I wanted at the end, and had a scene going that wasn't going anywhere. So I decided to just try and write the ending and see what I could come up with. I wanted to print it out later at the office (since my printer at home is out of ink).

I worry when I write that much in a day. It all may sound nice to my now, but I've learned that if I write more than 2,00o words, much of what I have is crap. I guess I'll see in a couple days when I work on revision.

Speaking of which, I think I'll next work on revising the last two essays I've written.

No rejection slips yet today, but it is early.
