Sunday night we had actually turned in early. Well, I had to (or so I thought) go to work the next day. But seems it was just not to be. Dilema - Didn't want to abandon my friends, but also felt guilty about calling in sick. (no vacation time left). Then I talked to my mom.

'Aren't you always? And they can't fire you, they need you.' - Mom (well, this is true, we're understaffed) Now, you have to understand my parents to know how totally shocking this whole conversation was. My *mom* wants me to lie? Well, fine. Whatever. I call Chre.
'One more for the city tomorow. I am suddenly feeling ill.' Said Chre... 'I knew you would' It must be that name thing. *g*

Anyway... the city. I did not know this but supposedly all of NYC is one giant stage prop. Gumbie would have
more to say on this topic... After our attempt at the Empire State Building and the UN, we hit Grand Central
Station, St. Patricks Cathedral and toured Rockerfeller Center, before walking down 5th Ave. (And yes Gumbie, I promise, next time its uptown, Central Park and Museum Mile, Natural History, Guggenhiem, MOMA, and the Met. Ahh! the Met! And I can tell you from experience, these are actually open. *g*)

Finally it was back to meet Chre and Hawk after the game, where the Rangers beat the Blackhawks! Woohoo! *cough* I mean... uhhh... boo? *g* Then it was back to Jinxies for more partying and some MP fun. (Not to mention the animals! *wg*)

have too many quotes from the Mystery Party craziness. Read the submarine scene for that! *giggle* But the
box-o-fun, all the stuffed animals and books... well, you'll see... :)

Now this one is interesting... we were talking about Gumbie and Bren's Victoria Secret story, which you all know by now, and I started to make a comment to Gumbie: You're boobs are now officially'... Laura'...In Jenner's hands.' Now the weird thing is, I remember how the first part of this story came about, but don't have a clue where the second part came from! But like I promised, it *is* interesting.
