This car came to me with a sad story apparently the elderly lady that owned it died and the land lord turned in the plates to clear it off the property.In this city a car with no plates is taken to impound in 48 hours.this car also runs and drives great since the first day.I turned some mean donuts in the over grown field where we stored it.the nose on this car is so long that I could not reach the carbeurator to prime it from the front of the car I had to go around the side.the frame is solid with no rust thru and there is no rust thru in the sheet metal anywhere that I can find.The only spots I found with rust were where scratches in the paint let a little suface rust start.The rear bumper of this car however is a must fix!Where the frame bolts on the bumper is broken off(the bumper is broke not the frame)so it will need to be replaced.I hope this car can do well because it has a 2-3 foot crumple zone in the front basically the front is going to have to come in that far to reach the block |
