Bananas Foster

Ingredients:
� stick of butter
1 � c packed brown sugar
2 t. Vanilla extract
2 t. Rum extract
1 T. Of water (optional)
4 bananas, peeled and quartered
cinnamon
(Vanilla) ice cream
Directions:
heat a pan to medium heat.  Add � stick of butter.  As it begins to melt, add in brown sugar.
Add in vanilla and rum extract to the mixture.  Stir until everything is melted and combined, making syrup.
If syrup becomes too thick or to create more syrup, add in 1 T. Of water to thin it out
Take quartered bananas and place them cut side down into the syrup mixture.  Let sit for about 1 minute.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Turn banana pieces over to coat and serve on a plate with a scoop of ice cream

Other Options
make bananas fosters crepes by cutting the bananas into smaller pieces and serving the mixture
in crepes with whipped cream on top
serve as a toping by cutting bananas into smaller pieces and serving on top of French toast or pancakes.
Don�t like bananas? Use sliced apples or pears instead and cook for 5 minutes or until tender


EASY PASTA ALFREDO
1lb. of cut pasta (shells, ziti, farfalle, or something little)
6-8 oz cream cheese/ cut into cubes
2-3 cloves of garlic/ chopped
1/2 cup chopped green onion or 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
1 cup of milk
salt and pepper
2 tbsp olive oil

Start cooking the pasta first.
warm poan with the olive oil-add the garlic until kit is soft. add the cream cheese and  lower the heat.  Once the cream cheese starts to melt and mix in, adjust the thickness with the milk, Add the onions or parsley and season with salt and pepper. by this time the pasta should be done. Drain the water and toss with the sauce.

FEEL FREE to add your own ingrediants. the old stand by's (chicken, seafood, spinach) are always great and i have found the bacon gives it a nice flavor. grated cheese may be added as well!
