Minnesota Fastpitch
In Minnesota
In the state of Minnesota, there are over 100 Men's and Boys Fastpitch softball teams.
There is one Major team, approximately 25 teams classified as ASA Class B, roughly 70 teams that are ASA Class C and then handfuls of Youth, Seniors and Masters teams.
In 2003, 36 Minnesota teams, or in some cases teams based outside of Minnesota but with a respectable amount of Minnesotans on their rosters, competed in 40 National and World Tournaments.
Five teams claimed National and World Titles:  Minot (ND) Barley Pop A's (the basis of which was RWP, Inc. of Geneva)-ASA Class A, Odin Fastpitch-ASA 23-Under, GM Contracting (Lake Crystal)-ASA 18-Under, Stewie Fastpitch (Stewartville)-ASA 16-Under and Jeraldine's (St. Paul)-NAFA Class A.
And the last three times USA Softball has named a Men's National Team, Ellsworth native and Barnesville resident Chad Boom has been a member of that elite team.
Hopefully in time, this site will contain anything and everything about Minnesota Men's Fastpitch Softball, as well as in the Midwest.
