Coleraine English Country Dance BandMinnesota Country Dance Coop invites you to participate in an evening of dance in the style of 18th & 19th C. English country dancing. Dancing master John Playford first published such dances in 1650. The easy-to-learn Ball dances will be taught four Sundays in February and March 1 at Tapestry Folkdance Center.
At6 p.m. we offer an optional vegetarian light supper (@ $10) prior to the evening’s merriment. Dancing begins at 7 p.m. with members of Coleraine English Country Dance Band. Period or formal attire is encouraged but not required

From East 94, go South on Cretin Ave N exit, then west on Marshall Ave and cross the river to Lake Street.
The church is located on the corner of 34th Ave and
33th Street. Enter the education wing from the courtyard. Street parking.

The Ball opens with Sellengers Round followed by three sets of six dances. These English country dances will be taught four Sundays in February at Tapestry Folkdance Center, 3748 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis.
