Orlando

Wednesday 6/16/04
After working a half day, I flew down to Orlando and rented a car. We went to dinner at Darryl's per the trolley driver's recommendation that they had the best ribs.

Thursday 6/17/04
We took the free shuttle from the hotel over to Universal Studios for the day. We enjoyed the rides and shows, had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe and a margarita at Margaritaville at the City Walk. That night we had dinner at Bahama Breeze and then drove around town and had ice cream at the Pointe of Orlando.

Cocoa Beach

Friday 6/18/04
On our way to Cocoa Beach we stopped and had breakfast at Grills Restaurant in Port Canaveral. Then we went to the Cocoa Beach Pier to look around and then the Ron Jon Surf Shop. We checked into the Best Western Oceanfront Hotel. It was a great location - right on the beach and walking distance to the pier. We spent the afternoon in the ocean and then at the tiki bar on the pier. We had dinner at the Atlantic Ocean Grille on the pier.

Saturday 6/19/04
We got up to view the sunrise which was Beautiful! We had breakfast at Coconuts and then spent the day at the Kennedy Space Center. We had dinner at Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill. We were planning on viewing the rocket launch from the beach that evening, but it was rescheduled because of the rain. We walked along the beach and then had a few beers at Marlin's on the pier.

Sunday 6/20/04 - Happy Father's Day!
We watched the sunrise again and then had breakfast at a local diner before driving to the airport.
