Friday 10/22/04
John and Kathy picked us up from the airport and we checked into the Westin Crown Center. Then we walked through the Link over to Skies in the Hyatt Regency for dinner. It's a revolving restaurant looking over beautiful downtown Kansas City.

Saturday 10/23/04
We went to the Other Place in Overland Park to watch the Iowa game. They beat Penn State 6-4 and what a game to watch! The bar was full of Hawkeye fans! Then we went to Gates for some BBQ. We drove to Jenn and Jason's to see their new house which is very cute. We chatted with them and Jason's parents for awhile and then headed to the Plaza to walk around. Then we had dinner at the hotel at Streetcar Named Desire and went to Union Station.

Sunday 10/24/04
We had breakfast at the hotel at Brasserie. Then we watched the Chiefs beat Atlanta 56-10 - another awesome game! Chiefs broke an NFL record - 8 rushing touchdowns in one game. We saw the Atlanta Falcons team in the airport! Then when we got home our luggage was completely destroyed, but Southwest gave us a new suitcase.
