History of Lahore
There are many very old structures, which are yet present in Lahore; they resemble the past of Lahore. They include: Lahori Gate having old name of kacha kot and it meet the ancient districts of Lahore. Ptolemy is another ancient structure which was name of geographer and astronomer in the Labokla between Palibothra and Indus River in Kasperia country.

Some people think that Lahore is driven from a word Lava which was a Hindu God�s Son named Rama who founded the Lahore city. An empty temple is also present in Lahore named Lava. Durga is similar case named by Hindu Goddness.

Huddud e Alam is a paper written for Lahore in 982 and is considered to be ancient. Its English translation is also available. In this paper, Lahore stands for Shahr city where there are a lot of templates and large markets and huge structures. Muslim rulers include Mahmud, Ayaz Sultan Mahumud, Sheykh Ayaz and Sultan Mahmud. In 1021 a Muslim ruler Mahmud e Ghazni made Malik Ayaz a superior person of Lahore and who made Lahore the capital of Ghaznavid Emprie.


A lot of people were killed when Sultan took the city back, Ayaz was the first Muslim ruler who rebuilt the city of Lahore. He made Gates and Forts in Lahore. During 1800�s Mughal emperor powers were weakened and the Lahore was captured by Afghan Emperor and became a suba which means it became Afghan Province which had rulers from Afghanistan but had their own court. British rule


From 1800�s british companies started buildings in India and finally in 1987 they captured whole India. During their reign 1849 to 1948 they reconstructed Lahore which was mixture of Mughal, Gothis and British styles. Many buildings in Lahore represet it.
