| What do you charge? "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival." Fees are negotiable and will depend in part on length of event, travel distance, party favors and activities, and other considerations. A non-refundable deposit will be required up front. Currently I am unable to take credit or debit cards. Prices start at $100 per hour. "Perhaps you feel you are being treated unfairly?" According to All Time Favorites.com, the average celebrity entertainer/look-a-like rates range from $150 to $350 per hour just for "strolling for photos", and from $350-1000 per hour for a singing/performing act. I provide more entertainment for less money, but feel free to check out the listings in the site above and come back after "shopping around". *We also offer free appearances for fundraisers and charity events--contact me now to find out more!* What do you use for your costume? "The force is stong in this one." I wear the officially licensed Supreame Edition Darth Vader costume, such as the one shown in the link. My costume was purchased from "Nightmare Halloween and Costumes" in Burnsville, which was temporarily located during the Halloween season just off Hwy 13 near Burnsville Bowl and Aldy's. I also use high quality reproduction riding boots from BuyStarWarsCostumes.com (the site linked above), as well as the officially liscensed Master Replicas FX "Darth Vader" lightsaber. Do you use a voice changer to sound like Vader? "I find your lack of faith distrubing." I closely imitate Vader's voice unassisted by any sort of voice changer or similar device. This makes my impersonation more realistic, since even the best quality voice changers in the known galaxy still sound artifical. How tall are you? "Impressive. Most impressive." I am about 6ft tall normally, and approximately 6'4''-6'6" in the suit. I also have a rather broad frame, which gives me a more imposing, almost "larger than life" appearance when I'm in full costume. Do you do special events? "Alert all commands. Calculate every possible destination along their last known trajectory." Please contact me at least two to three weeks in advance so we can discuss the details of your event and schedule an appointment date. Check out the Events page for ideas! How long can you stay in full costume? "Just for once, let me look at your face with my own eyes." In favorable conditions, I need a "breather" (i.e., a break from the helmet for some water) about every 1.5 to 2 hours to prevent over-heating, dehydration, and overall "grumpy Vader syndrome". |
