be certified to be involved with the boys. You can do this online
thru the Viking Council site.

General News/Roundtable News
**Training……leadership essentials will be held on 1/15/05 and 4/2/05.
Lots of time to arrange your schedule to attend.
Nominations are requested for District Leadership positions. Is
there a Scoutmaster or Committee Chair you know who could be
nominated? See Ed Schmidt for details. The recognition dinner will
be in early March.
**Scout nights with the Timberwolves….each ticket $19. Gets you into
the game, a Crunch booblehead, TWolves yearbook, scouting patch and
onto the floor after the game for a free throw contest.

Scoutmaster Report
Have been exploring doing different things at Monday meetings,
including helping the boys earn merit badges.
Also, have been recruiting adults to learn about the troop and using
the Troop Guides to help retain the interest of the new Scouts.
Camping
November------Submarine overnight on 11/20. Still places available.

Wreath sales directly correlate to the amount of credit we give out
to the boys. We need to evaluate what we do every year.

December Court of Honor includes a Potluck. Each family will be asked to bring a dish to share. We decided due to Band conflict to move the Potluck to 7 PM. Details will follow.
