Rocky Mountain Tour - Mountain Lovers         MT - ID - UT - WY - CO

If you like the mountains, this is a great tour, we did this tour in the summer of 2000.  The route we took takes two weeks and is about 3300 miles long.  Some of the route for the trip:

Through North Dakota to Montana, to Idaho via Salmon to Boise, to Salt Lake City, to Rock Springs Wyoming, to Vernal Utah, to Grand Junction Colorado, to Denver and home via Nebraska and Iowa.  The first day we went 650 miles to get to Montana and the last day we did 650 miles through Nebraska and Iowa.
