Stab room (pronounced "stabe" room) - short for stabilization room.
Special team of doctors and nurses on-call in Emergency Room at HCMC to deal
with life threatening injuries. At North Memorial is referred to as
the Trauma Team.
Required for Hospital's Level 1 Trauma center designation.
