Minnesota ARMER System Tower ID's & Frequencies

System ID: 40F / BEE07  (decimal 1039 / Motorola 781831)

Note on Rebanding:   Starting April 2008 many of the frequencies used by the ARMER system have changed.  This is a result of a long planned resolution with Nextel to address interference issues.   This process is known as "rebanding".  There have been no reports of any problems with compatible scanners and the new frequencies.    In most cases, the change is simply to subtract 15mhz from any frequency greater then 861.000mhz.    For example, 867.3875 becomes 852.3875 under the new plan.    Hopefully these changes will improve reception for users in areas that have heavy Nextel repeater coverage.

"How do I use this information?"   - These are the digital control channel and voice frequencies for the statewide digital trunked radio system.   If you haven't already, read the How Does it All Work FAQ page.   If you have a compatible digital scanner, enter the primary and alternate control channels into a new bank.    You do not need to enter the voice frequencies unless the data channels are not listed.  Follow the links on the Home Page for the talkgroups for each individual agency. 

Every Tower and system has a primary control channel that is used the majority of the time for transmitting trunking control data.  Every tower also has 2 or 3 alternate/backup data control channels that can be used if the primary data channel goes offline.   Voice traffic is carried on the remaining channels.  The alternate control channels can be used for voice traffic if the other channels are busy.
