Meet MOLLY!!!
(formally known as Rachel)
Molly is a Purebread Cairn Terrier
Born 09-17-05
As of 11-21-05 she weighed 3 lbs 6 oz.
Molly's first day in her new home started off early.  She left her Mom, family and the home she knew.
She boarded her first flight at the Oklahoma Will Rodgers Airport at 8:00am arriving at Dallas / Fort Worth Intl at 9:00 am.  She then Boarded a flight from DFW at 11:00 and arrived at MSP Airport at 1:30 pm.

Ben and I were waiting for her at the gate.  It seemed like she would never arrive...

The grizzly baggage handler guy came out from the back door with a little dog crate in his hands.  He proceded to the baggage claim counter and began showing off how cute Molly was to the staff behind the counter.  They ALL fell in love with her while I filled out the paperwork.

We left for home, and she got to her new house by 2:30pm.

She instantly ran for the pile of new toys we had for her, and she had a blast playing with them all!
This was the first toy she plunged at - a big stuffed orange doggie - It's bigger than her!! Here she is again with her big orange doggie.  It seems to be a favorite!
Her she is next to her bed full of toys - it's so hard to choose what to play with next!
Molly played and played and played - the kids sat in a circle on the outside edges of the room, and she ran from kid to kid to kid, stopping to get to know them, and playing with toys inbetween stops.  She sometimes even draged some toy to the child she was on her way to visit.  This went on for some time.

Sadie the cat was curious, and not too amused about the interloper.

Later, one set of grandparents and an uncle stopped over and she played with them for quite some time.

By now, she was pooping out.  She ate, drank, and crashed in her kennel (under a diningroom chair the kids were playing on above her - how she did not wake was beyond me!).

The first set of grandparents left, and the second showed up.  She woke up - played more with the kids and grandparents, did a little more eating and drinking - went out and pooped, came back in and played more!
Crashed out in the middle of the floor Curled up in my lap
Molly on Michele's feet - Keeping warm in her first Minnesota Winter.
By 9:30 pm she could hardly stay awake.  She collapsed on the floor, climbed up in my lap and crashed, and curled up around Michele's feet for warmth, and crashed there...  I think the theme of Molly's first day at hour house has been - Play, Play, Play...

It has been a LONG day.....

Good night everyone.
