

August 2, 2002: One of our Actors has passed away. Licette Acosta, who had a brief part in "Ethel" and also appeared in the 1st commercial, "The Old & The Heartless," shown during "Happy Endings, Episode 1," was found dead in her apartment in Northern Liberties today. Licette has had several heart operations in the past and the cause of death, while unknown at this point, may have been a heart attack. Licette is survived by a brother, Carlos, who lives in Miami as well as by some relatives in Cuba. She was only 41 years old.
June 13, 2002: The title of the next production has been revealed. "M.O.G. - Master of Games" is the new MM Video Production movie which has been under production for the past several months. Filming is expected to continue through much of the summer and no information about a premiere date has been announced. Confirmed actors in the film are: Terry Miller, Lucy Pappas, Meryle Fischer and Joseph McGeehan. Check out the teaser movie poster on the home page of this site.
May 30, 2002: Filming has begun on the next MM Video Productions. It is a horror film starring newcomer Lucy Pappas (who recently starred as "Lola" in the first commercial during the debut episode of "Happy Endings," and veteran star, Terry Miller. Details are being kept quiet about the project right now so there is not much else to report.
April 26, 2002: "Happy Endings" Episode 1 has finally been released on VHS tape. All cast members should get one upon request. Anyone else interested in a copy should email us at [email protected]
April 6, 2002: A new script has just been completed for an upcoming feature film on digital video. Details are limited at this point, but we can confirm that the lead roles have been given to Terry Miller and Lucy Pappas. Award winning stars, Meryle Fischer and Joseph McGeehan, are also expected to have cameos in the film. Locations are being scouted and filming is set to begin soon.
February 5, 2002: Happy Endings, Episode 2 is now being written and is scheduled to begin shooting in the Spring. Details to be announced soon.
November 4, 2001: The Premiere was more successful than we ever imagined it would be. More than 80 people showed up to watch "Predator" and "Happy Endings." Awards for best acting went to Joseph McGeehan for his lead role in "Predator" and to Dolores Muller for her supporting role in "Happy Endings." Meryle Fischer's 50th birthday was celebrated, there was lots of great food, friends and laughs. Thanks to all who came out! We'll see you next time! October 9, 2001: Performances that will be revealed on premiere night have been honored with nominations. For Best Performance in a leading role: Meryle Fischer, Joseph McGeehan, Karen Mimmo, Terry Miller and Karla Thill. For Best Performance in a Supporting Role: Kim Gerweck, Keri Hartenstein, Penny Mimmo, Dolores Muller, B.J. Serhan and Reinaldo Vicente. The audience will choose the winners on November 3rd.
September 29, 2001: The second and final commercial for "Happy Endings" will be shot tomorrow in Horsham. The commercial stars veteran MM Video Star, Penny Mimmo.
September 23, 2001: All the stars came out for two days of filming "Happy Endings," the new sitcom from MM Video Productions. According to director, Michael McGeehan, the shoot went extremely well. Editing will begin immediately and the premiere has been set for November 3, 2001.
September 21, 2001: One day before filming is set to begin on the set of "Happy Endings," Meryle Fischer has pulled a muscle in her back. She is resting today and is assuring the producer of the show that she will be fine. "The Show must go on," Meryle stated.
September 14, 2001: The first commercial which will be shown during the sitcom "Happy Endings" is scheduled to be filmed on Sunday, September 16th. Lips are sealed as to who will be starring in the commercial or where the shooting will take place. The commercials are meant to be humorous, 'Saturday Night Live' style and apparently there will be two of them. Shooting of the 2nd commercial is not yet scheduled.
September 11, 2001: We will never forget the horrific events of this day.
September 10, 2001: The 1994 film, "Five After Dark" contained 5 short stories, one being "Judy's Afraid of The Dark" starring Meryle Fischer in her very first leading role. Director Michael McGeehan has decided to re-edit the film, deleting unnecessary scenes, using alternative shots, a brand new score, converting to black and white and to a wide-screen look. The Millenium Edition of "Judy" is available now on VHS in very limited quantities.
September 9, 2001: Cameras were rolling today as filming began on the set of the new sitcom, "Happy Endings." The show is being filmed at the home of director, Michael McGeehan, a 100-year-old Victorian House in West Norriton. Karen Mimmo and Jill McGeehan suited up in their characters wardrobe today to perform a musical number for the first episode.
August 28, 2001: The final scene was typed and forwarded to star, Meryle Fischer, for review. Production is set to begin on September 22, 2001. This will be the first attempt at a real comedy by MM Video Productions. The show, "Happy Endings" has been cast with Fischer leading along with Terry Miller, Karen Mimmo, Jill McGeehan, Pete Lucarini, Keri Hartenstein, Dolores Muller and newcomers B.J. Serhan and Donald Martin.
August 25, 2001: MM Video Productions has gone digital. A new Sony mini-DV camcorder, a Casablanca Avio editing system, A super-fast computer with Adobe Premiere all adds up to a whole new look for our productions. Non-destructive editing is now possible, which will greatly improve the image of our features. Watch for the new sitcom, "Happy Endings" to be shot entirely in digital video and edited using high-tech equipment and software.
