| MM Video Productions began as a hobby for Director Michael McGeehan (hence the 'MM') and basically it still remains a hobby today. There has never been a budget for any of these films, no actor has ever been paid any money. It's been for fun, to get together with a group of people and bring a story to life on video.
There are some other films that are not listed here but do deserve a mention. In 1987 and 1988, Michael directed and starred in two off-the-wall films, "A Christmas Barrel of Laughs" and "A Christmas Barrel of Terror." The first was a take-off of Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' and the latter was the reunion of characters created by Michael and his sister, Penny, in a sequel that turned into a goofy horror film. Other early films included "Sorry, Wrong Number" starring Penny Mimmo in an adaptation of the Barbara Stanwyck film classic. Michael's brother Larry can also be seen in two delightful early shorts, "Magic Boy" and "Killer Raccoon." Out of all three of these early productions, the only one still viewable today is "Killer Raccoon." The others have been lost forever but are remembered. With the revolution of digital video, we hope to bring some more quality films to your viewing pleasure in the future. Keep watching... |
