Why do I have a favorites page? � I don't know... probably because a lot of other people do, and
I really needed one more link off of my home page to balance it. � Really, it's just a place for me to ramble on about miscellaneous stuff.�

| Favorite Hangout:
If you've seen my photo albums, you might guess that one of my favorite things to do is hanging out with
my friends at the Firehouse. � That would be true! �� It's a great place to chill after work, and they have some
really good bands on the weekends. �� My drink of choice? �� Dos Equis, with a lime. �� Oh - and it's a BYOD place....bring your
own DooDah (a Koozie to most people...)

The most common things overheard at the Firehouse:
- June (when a good song is playing): "I love this story!"
- Me (tipping my empty bottle upside-down): "Goddamn half beers!"
- Bert (in his best Foghorn Leghorn voice): "Well, ALLRIGHT then!"
- Johnny (with his Alabama drawl): "...crazier than a sprayed roach!"
- June: "I hate this place!"
- Me: "Me too. � Meet ya here tomorrow?"

Music:
� I listen to different kinds of music, depending on my mood.�
My favorites include Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Bob Seger, Guns-N-Roses, Dave Mathews, Bad Company, Eagles, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw
... and the list goes on. �� My all-time favorite voice to listen to is Alan Jackson. � Right now,
"When Somebody Loves You" is getting worn out in my car's CD player. � I love every song on that one, especially
#10. �The Trick Pony CD is great too... I've lost my voice several times wailing to that one on my way to work!

Food: � I'd have to say that my favorite food is crawfish (if that's really considered a food!)�
Pappadeaux is my
absolute favorite restaurant.� Their crawfish rocks, and everything else there is excellent, too. � I also like
to go to Lupe Tortilla's.� That's a cool little place with a big sandpit that the kids can play in while you drink
margaritas and wait for a table. � They have the best Tacos al Carbon that I've ever had.� Oh my Damn! I love spicy
food - jalapenos or Tabasco go with just about everything. �Got that from my Dad, I guess. � He makes some chili that will
'set you free', and sends me home with a case of homemade picante sauce everytime I go see him.� Yummy! |

Other favorite things to do:
- Laying on a raft in a cold lake, with a cold beer
close by
- Shopping - for nothing in particular
- Running
- Watching my kids grow up (they're so much
like me - wonder where that came from?)
- Discovering a wine I like

About my web page:
This is my first attempt at creating a web page. � I'm writing HTML, not using a
web design software, because I want to know how to do it. � (I like doing things the hard way - it's my life story!) �
Anyway, I'm learning as I go, and probably breaking all kinds of web design "rules", but it's my page, so who cares? �
