Puppy Piles
Puppy piles on a bed that's too small for two people, but six fit
comfortably.
Dark rooms and pointless movies and random touches in places that
should mean something, but don't because we're all just puppies in the
dark in a pile on a bed.
And it's always cold everywhere that someone isn't touching you so you
keep trying to get more touch, but the touch has to be shared, and
don't take more than your share or someone else gets left in the cold.
don't like the cold and it's lonely in the cold.
why do we choose to spend so much time in the cold?
puppy piles in the nights of childhood and growing and inexperience and
then there's the knowing but not mattering because it's just touch and
not feel.
it's just touch.
puppies in a pile.
