Michelle Sweeney was born on a reservation and raised in the country of South Dakota only moving to Michigan before her first marriage. Now at the beginning of her second marriage, (and last,) she has delved deeper into writing poems and short stories.
Michelle writes fiction stories based on life's experiences observations and situations. She enjoys touching people with her writing and reaching out to others who may have had similar experiences.
She has had a short story and poems published online and is currently taking the Long Ridge Writer's Group course after successfully passing their test. Michelle is a member of National Association of Women Writers, NAWW.
Michelle lives with her children and husband and a new bubbling addition, Briana, almost 2, on the shores of Lake Michigan. She keeps Michelle constantly on the run but has also allowed her to see life all over again through her child's eyes. |
