| Britni Sneed LSU #7 6'1" Junior Pitcher 410 strikeouts in the 2001 season 185 pitches in one game 275.2 innings pitched 19 strikeouts in one game On the 2001 National Blue team Pitched 2 no-hitters in Venesuala -One of them a perfect game -Struckout 27 -13 in one 14 in the other Britni Sneed is LSU's Pitcher. Her Junior year(2001) she helped(and when I say helped I mean helped ALOT) bring LSU farther than they had ever gone in the NCAA Championship tournament. She pitched a remarkable 13 innings in the LSU vs. Ok game. 1.57 million people watched the game on ESPN2. She pitched more strikes than the other pitcher pitched pitches and struck out 19 batters while she patiently waited for her offense to kick in. LSU did win the game and went on to play UCLA. In the UCLA game, she was put in to pitch after Ashely Lewis, LSU's other pitcher, had let 4 runs across and had two runners in scoreing position. This was right after Amanda Freed hit her double and scored two. The runs did score, but since Lewis got them on base they did not count against Sneed. Once she was in the game the UCLA offense slowed down and no other runs were allowed. Other: Birthday: June 30th Fav.
