ZORA

Territories: Great Bay, Zora Hall, Pinnacle Rock     Leader: Indigo-Go's Band Leader

The sea creatures known as the Zora live primarily in water, though they can survive just as healthily on land. They are a non-human race, somewhat resembling a blend between a human and a fish. Most Zoras have a tail like a dolphin, and fins coming from their arms, topped with a long, thick fin protruding from the top of their head. There are other types of Zora, such as the fat kind with few fins. The Zora love music, and the best player is their leader (he will start off with Level 3 Guitar Playing skill). The Zora are incredible swimmers and all have a Level 4 skill at swimming from the beginning. Their swimming abilities include a fast swimming and treading underwater as if it was land. The Zora use their surroundings and wildlife to aid them, such as making furniture out of seashells.

The three areas that the Zora inhabit are the Great Bay, Zora Hall, and Pinnacle Rock. The Great Bay is a huge body of water that streaches across a long beach. A waterfall from the beaver dam flows into it. In the middle of the northern part of the bay is the observatory, where different things are studied. In the middle of the southern part of the bay is Zora Hall.

Zora Hall is underwater, and the only entrance for the other races not skilled at diving is from the back. Zora Hall is filled with many rooms and is where the Zoras live and where many set up shop in the safety of the hall. There is a pool for swimming, and is room for a second floor to be built for more shops or homes (will take a lot of work, though). The main feature of Zora Hall, however, is the stage where the incredibly popular Indigo-Go's play. Even the other races enjoy their music, but are limited in hearing it now that the races are at war.

The final area controlled by the Zora is Pinnacle Rock. This area is filled with many dangerous sea creatures, and few Zoras who enter come back alive. However, at the bottom of the pit are many pearls, great for making the expensive Pearl Pictograph Box.

The Zora's defense is actually not as much physically there as it is an advantage in the terrain. Building defenses along the bay is hard and time-consuming, and building them against the Gerudo is nearly impossible. However, the Zora have a distinct advantage in water, making it much easier for them to attack others. Also, Zora Hall can only be entered from behind by many races, unless very skilled divers can swim into the from entrance.

The Zora cannot use a whole lot of weapons, but they have good physical abilities. The best of these are the boomerang fins, which fly around like a projectile (shorter range than arrows, though). Also, they are skilled at fighting. The Zora are weak against Fire and Ice Arrows.

The Zora have a wide variety of instruments, which include the fishbone guitar, crab guitar, sea drums, and sea piano. However, the most popular is the fishbone guitar. The Zora know the New Wave Bossa Nova, which will call the giant turtle to rescue them from battle (only near water, of course). The Zora do not have any special masks that they have access to from the start.

The Zora's like to eat beavers... no, just joking. They actually like to eat fish and seahorses, though they also use them as their friends and pets sometimes.

Weapons available to the Zora include the Excalibur of the Sea, the Zoran Bow, and Elemental Bow.
