DEMI-RACES
Demi-Races are not actual races and do not fit anywhere on the wheel of the races. Instead, they represent the extremes of peace and evil. The Bremen are humans, while the Keaton are their own kind. They both vary differently in what they are, but they aren't as numerous or powerful as the main races. As Demi-Races, they are not entitled to infinite funds or any of the other leader decisions, nor are they able to make treaties with any of the races.
BREMEN
The Bremen is a legendary group of rogue humans commited to destruction. In ancient times, this gang assaulted even the highest of authority so that they could get what they wanted, but few ever actually saw them and lived to tell. The Bremen have not been seen recently, so now their people are more of a legend than anything. Recently, however, members have formed to once again bring back the Bremen. They ride around on horses, wearing the red-eyed Bremen Mask to both strike fear into those who see them and to disguise who they really are.
Bremen are humans, not their own race. Because of this, they may actually live in the societies of certain human races, and live productive lives outside of their gang. The people have the same abilities of the human race they represent. However, the Bremen have a hideout, at an unknown location, where many of the members live.
Bremen do not really have a cause or opinion on the war and only attack for hurting races. There is usually no real reason behind this. The Bremen are marked with the sound of horse hooves and the glow from the red eyes of the Bremen Mask.
Unlike the other races, the Bremen start out with only 1 weapon skill point, 1 profession point, and 3 non-weapon skill points. This may seem unfair, but all of the Bremen have special abilities. They begin with Level 3 bow skills, Level 3 horse riding skills, and Level 2 ocarina playing skills. All Bremen are Bowyers naturally, Level 2 from the start. This makes for a total of 14 skill points, 4 more than most races (though you cannot choose where most of them go). If a human wishes to join the Bremen gang, these Levels are requirements for entry.
KEATON
Keaton are yellow/orange fox-like creatures with several tails. Keatons live peacefully in an unknown location. Seeing a Keaton is said to be good luck. The Keaton, in fact, are bringers of peace. They do not approve of the war, and think that the warring races should stop. However, they are non-violent, and will only attack if threatened. They are considered an advanced race, and most races would dare not hurt them.
The entrances to the Keaton home is through passages from the fleeing bush patches. If one stands on these with the Keaton Mask, the Keaton see this as a sign of peace and usually allow them to enter.
The Keaton do not make any weapons, though they may sometimes sell items. In Combat, they use their claws (Level 3), and have an ES of 14. They can escape back to their homes with waves of their tails while near a patch of bushes.
Skills Keaton know are Illusion Creation (Level 2), Running (Level 1... no ES bonus), Swimming (Level 1), and Dancing (Level 1). Keatons cannot learn additional skills.
Keaton are said to hold mystical powers of life and nature, but no one knows for sure.
